Outreach to our Community

The group meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month to do “Mission Sewing and Crafts.” We have made hygiene kits to be distributed through the local Food Pantry, and walker caddies that are available for persons using walkers — some through the Woman’s Club of Ouray County. They have a medical loan closet where residents can borrow for temporary use any of the medical equipment that is available.

We also make quilts for babies and toddlers in Ouray County.

In late October, the group holds their Annual Oktoberfest with a variety of craft and gift items, with a Soup and Pie Luncheon. Proceeds are used for Outreach into the community and for supplies for the Mission Sewing projects.
