Outreach to our Community

A group meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month to do “Mission Sewing and Crafts.” We have made hygiene kits to be distributed through the local Food Pantry, and walker caddies that are available for persons using walkers — some through the Woman’s Club of Ouray County. They have a medical loan closet where residents can borrow for temporary use any of the medical equipment that is available.

In late November, the group made a variety of craft and gift items that were sold to earn funds needed for supplies for the Mission Sewing.
